LMRSD is responsible for the pickup of garbage on a weekly basis all year round. Garbage pickup starts at 7 A.M. on Monday morning with the exception of Monday holidays, garbage pickup will start on Tuesday at 7A.M. instead.

All garbage must be in garbage bags, securely tied and placed in a covered animal proof container! Paper bags and/or cardboard boxes should NOT be used as containers for household garbage.

Due to federal and state regulation the following CAN NOT be collected: Paints, solvents, pesticides, sludges, fuels, asphalt shingles, waste oil, batteries, lumber, animal manure, dead animals, acids/alkalines, mattresses or tires.
